Heavy equipment installation · First installs · National rollouts
We turn the messy first install into something your crews can repeat.
BlackBolt Industrial installs heavy indoor equipment — storage systems, racking, and more — for manufacturers launching a new product and teams rolling one out across the country. We put the first units in the field, work out how they really go in, write it down, and run the rollout.

Installed. Documented. Repeatable.

The first unit goes in. Nobody writes down how.
A manufacturer launches a new product. The first few installs happen in the field with a crew, a box of parts, and instructions that never met a real job site. It gets done, but the lessons stay in someone's head.
Then comes the second site, the tenth site, a different crew. Without a written procedure that matches how it really goes in, every install is a fresh guess.
That's where BlackBolt comes in. We deploy the first units, work out how they actually go in, write the procedures and manuals, and then handle the rollout. We also fix the paperwork for products already in the field that never got reliable install instructions.
How a first install works
Four steps from first unit to repeatable rollout
- 01
Deploy
The first units go into real sites with our crew.
- 02
Work it out
We find out how it actually goes in, not how the drawing says it should.
- 03
Write it down
Install procedures, manuals, site-readiness checklists, and field troubleshooting notes.
- 04
Roll it out
Repeatable installs across sites, with the same documentation every time.
What we do
Six ways we work with manufacturers and rollout teams

First installs
Putting a new product's first units in the field and working out how they really go in.
See first installs →
National rollouts
Repeatable installs across sites and states once the procedure is proven.
See national rollouts →
Overflow & subcontract crews
Extra hands working under your direction when your own crews are booked.
See crew support →
Install procedures & manuals
Assembly instructions, site-readiness checklists, and field troubleshooting notes, including for products already in the field.
See how we write them →Installation R&D
Learn the product in our shop before it reaches your customer's floor.
We assemble, take it apart, and rebuild until the sequence is repeatable, then write the manual and the training. The slow part stays off your customer's production time.
Equipment
What we install
We own the mechanical scope: assembly, rigging, setting, leveling, and anchoring. In data centers, that means rack setting and containment assembly.
- Vertical carousels
- Vertical lift modules
- Custom lift units
- Racking and shelving
- Data center racks and containment
- Other heavy indoor equipment
Brand and equipment references are for identification and field-experience context only. They don't imply endorsement, exclusivity, sales representation, formal authorization, or a current OEM relationship.

Field work
What the job actually looks like
Before you ask
Straight answers
- What do you actually install?
- Heavy indoor equipment: vertical carousels, vertical lift modules, custom lift units, racking, shelving, and similar. We own the mechanical scope: assembly, rigging, setting, leveling, and anchoring.
- Can you work to our procedures, or write them if we don't have any?
- Both. We work to the manufacturer's procedures and standards. If a product has no reliable install instructions, we write them: assembly instructions, site-readiness checklists, and field troubleshooting notes. When you want that worked out in our shop first, with a sequenced manual and a training protocol, see Installation R&D.
- Do your crews travel?
- Yes. We're based in Liberty Hill, Texas, and our crews travel nationwide.
- Do you carry insurance, and can you send paperwork?
- W-9, certificates of insurance, and safety documentation available on request.
- Can you take overflow work from other installers or vendors?
- Yes. We take on installation under your direction when your own crews are booked. See Overflow & subcontract crews.
- I just need a service visit or a relocation. Do you do that?
- Yes. We do service visits and repairs on storage equipment, and relocations: teardown, move, and reinstall.
- How fast will I hear back?
- We don't promise a response window here — send the request and we'll get back to you with a straight answer.
